Barbecue help needed

We are intending to have these as regularly as possible on Fri nights (colts) and Sat nights. On Friday nights Lorna Davies has volunteered to cook for the colts and parents but we need extra volunteers to help on Sat evenings from 7pm till 9pm roughly. All buns etc are already bought so all you will have to commit to is manning the BBQ and taking the money - everyone will help set up and clean down.

Please contact Robbie Cooper if you can assist at all - even a single Saturday will be a great help.

Bar Staff

 

The bar is our main source of income but it needs to provide more.

We need volunteers to enable us to open the bar whenever there are people around to use it.

 

Tue nights – Evening League

Fri Nights – Colts Training

Sat – During Match and afterwards

Sun – During Match and afterwards

 

You don’t need to make a major commitment a few people willing to work a couple of days a season will be a massive help to the bar committee. If you can help then please contact Terry Journeux, Joe Humby or Roger Flower for more information or e-mail the club and someone will contact you.

Press Officer

 

We need to increase the public profile of the club and we have a good local media to do this through. We need someone to be the 1^st point of contact for the local media and someone who will send regular updates to all press contacts to ensure a strong press presence.

We have lots to shout about and be proud of so let’s make the most of it and tell the local population what we do for them.

I anticipate this will take no more than a few hours a month as most of the journalists are only too happy to be sent stories on a regular basis.
